By using Safety Circle, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Your Safety Circle members receive a notification that you haven't checked in. They can then reach out to make sure you're okay.

Safety Circle is a personal safety app that allows users to set check-in reminders, mark themselves safe, and notify their designated Safety Circle of their status. The app is not an emergency service and should not be relied upon as the sole means of ensuring personal safety.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Only add people to your Safety Circle with their consent. Only the people in your Safety Circle — your trusted contacts that you've invited and who've accepted your request.
• Use the app responsibly and not for any illegal purposes
• Not rely solely on the app for emergency situations
• Keep your account credentials secure

4. Safety Circle Membership

By accepting a Safety Circle invitation, you agree to receive notifications about the member's check-in status. You can leave a Safety Circle at any time through the app settings.

5. Limitation of Liability

Safety Circle is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for:

• Missed check-ins or failed notifications due to technical issues
• Any harm resulting from reliance on the app
• Actions taken or not taken by Safety Circle members

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
